Opening Weekend - A Big Success

Oxjam Kingston Music Festival is celebrating its successful opening weekend at Kingston University’s newly refurbished Space Bar on Penrhyn road.

On Saturday October 7, the experienced Bubblewrap pulled in the punters. The Common Moral Cause filled the dancefloor and headliner, Dan Priddy, raised the roof. On Sunday, three superb female-fronted bands, Feverfly, IZIT-U and Playground Brawl, charmed, seduced and rocked the audience before finally ripping their heads off! 

The two nights raised over £800 for Oxfam thanks to the generous support of local sponsors (Listed Below). Kingston University gave over its venue for free and its bar and security staff worked tirelessly to make both nights a success.
